L.A. Boyz is considered the first rap group in Taiwanese popular music. Composed of brothers Jeff Huang (黃立成) and Stanley Huang (黃立行), and their cousin Steven Lin (林智文), the boy group was active 1991 to 1997. Members would then go on to form the hip hop group Machi.
Having grown up in Irvine, California, L.A. Boyz brought a fresh, unique sound to the Taiwanese music scene.
