One nurse's life changed forever the moment she took part in and won One Million Star, Taiwan's singing competition television program, in 2008. While originally planning to use the prize money to open a restaurant, Lala Hsu instead debuted as a singer, achieving instant commercial success.
Hsu has done more than just sing, she has also written and composed music for dozens of other major Taiwanese pop artists, winning awards for her singing, writing, and producing.
