United Airlines says that it will resume flights to Taiwan in November. The US-based carrier says that it will operate three flights a week, between San Francisco and Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.
United first halted its daily flights to Taiwan on March 19, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Flights were originally scheduled to resume on April 30, but that date was pushed back as the coronavirus continued to spread.
United Airlines’ Taiwan office says the Taipei-San Francisco route is one of 29 planned routes intended to help restart operations.
The first of the renewed flights is scheduled to take off from San Francisco on November 1.
